Fresh Pops
This piece was inspired by the 80's hip-hop and retro culture. I used sneakers and sunglasses as the cereal because those were two things that made someone appear "fresh." When I think of the 80's I see people carrying boom boxes on their shoulder, so I made it the cereal's toy. Oh, let's not forget about the chunky gold chains and doorknocker earrings.

Sky Might Fall
This illustration is fan art I created based on my favorite artist's song Sky Might Fall. An example of where it could be used is on an online music store as the single's album art.

Bake
This typography piece was really fun to create. The letters represent different elements of baking. I personified the letter 'B' by giving it a chef's hat. The letter 'K' consists of a rolling pin, pizza cutter, and egg beater. Everyone uses an egg beater when baking, so it was vital to include. The 'E' is a layered cake. This piece could be used as advertising for a bakery.

Purple Castle
This illustration is a parody of the restaurant White Castle. My favorite color is purple, so I thought I'd dream a bit.

Lyrical Genius
I created this layout as the title page for a magazine spread. Kanye West is my favorite rapper so this piece was pretty fun to make. The washed out text in the background lists all of his studio albums. I wrote the copy below as an opening to the magazine spread I intend to complete soon.

Las Vegas Tee
This is a site-specific tee I created while interning at Build-A-Bear Workshop. I was instructed to create a design similar to the popular Las Vegas sign. I made the sign the shape of a bear's head, and placed their logo inside of the blue poles to make it unique to their brand.

Typeface Confessions
Graphic designers often talk about their hate of the font Comic Sans. One day I thought of what this particular font would say about its reputation if it could speak. I imagined what Helvetica, Arial, and Times New Roman would say as well and thought it would be funny to make into a t-shirt collection. Why does Helvetica get all the shine?
